Risk assessment

Location
Risk
How to prevent it
London - Tower bridge apartments
-          Falling over in heels
To prevent falling over in heels we will need to make sure the height of the heel is less than 5 inches so they’re not hard to walk in over the cobbles. We will take a spare pair of shoes so if the heels start to hurt our feet and we will change into flat shoes when not on camera. This will give us a break from our feet aching and quickly change back into heels just for the video.
Tower bridge embankment

-    More people likely to get into the shot
-          Heels getting stuck in the gaps of the boardwalk
-          Weather
We will need to look out for people who may walk in front of the camera by accident.  We don’t mind people being in the background as there will be a lot of people in London all day. We can’t prevent people from walking into our shot but we will have to try and find areas where it is less likely for people to have the need to walk exactly where we’re standing. Some people may also object to being filmed, if this is the case we will stop filming and start again.
There are small gaps in the boardwalk running along Tower bridge embankment which could be a problem in case someone’s heel on their shoe gets stuck. To overcome this we will have to wear heels with a larger platform.
We will need to check the weather before we leave to go London, as we are filming in the middle of October it’s likely to be cold and raining.

Party footage – party/bar/club

Someone’s bedroom (Girls getting ready)

-          Filming when not completely sober

-  Family members interrupting without realising
This could be a risk because we might watch the footage afterwards and realise it’s not what we expected to get. This means we will have to film footage before the night has started in order to get filming done before drinking consumption

Let each family member know that we’re filming for a music video so they don’t disturb us by getting into the shot
